Judging begins for The Ekka’s best in show for food and drink

 

The 2024 Ekka may be three months away, but the judging to determine the best in show for Queensland’s finest produce has already begun. From beef and seafood to cheese and distilled spirits, selecting the winners has been a challenging yet delightful task.

The Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) is Queensland’s largest and most beloved annual event, drawing an average of 400,000 attendees. Organized by the RNA and held at its original location, the Brisbane Showgrounds, the Ekka unites city and country for a true celebration of agriculture.
